Shrine of the Six

Hello there!

Odd to start a blog just as you begin playing a game only to reach the level cap before you post again, don't you think?  Well, in this case, no.  I was just enjoying myself too much!

Last weekend I reached 80 on my norn Necromancer.  I tried to play almost exclusively in the Shiverpeaks (which felt like home turf) and yesterday I finally managed map completion for Frostgorge Sound.  That was pretty good fun.  Of course I got distracted fighting dragons a few times but, hey, they were hard to miss!

Unfortunately I have missed 3 areas so I don't have my Shiverpeak Explorer badge but I want to go back and find the jumping puzzles anyway.

Having reached a nice natural end point yesterday, this morning I was free to do whatever I liked.  I had a good look at level 80 exotic gear last night and decided which dungeons I'd like to try to do.  So, one thing I could do is unlock all the dungeon waypoints.  However, I don't like to just run pell-mell through zones so I decided to go and explore Divinity's Reach in detail.

Having not played GW I'm not very familiar with the lore of the games so I enjoyed finding out about the six gods the humans worship and suddenly a few things made a bit more sense.  I still prefer the norn animal totems as a system of deification but that's for another blog.

I do intend to play some other characters and some point so I am somewhat reluctant to go and explore some areas on Tore.  I know I'll enjoy playing those other characters much more if I don't.

That's all for now, RL to attend!
